It may be a wet dreary day in NYC but seeing this post is putting a smile back on my face - I am looking forward to seeing everyone again in 2016 at this event.

Tom C - you just won the Iron Butt award again for thinking about that drive cross country!

In addition to a turbo encabulator currently under construction in the garage, I plan on upgraded kanifle valves, more better differential girdlesprings..........and sneezeproof mud guards (name that quote)

I'm psyched and have been sitting in the car up on blocks for extended periods of time making exhaust sounds (and some with my mouth too.........think about it) in preparation for July 2016

Can't wait to see yens guys......

I love the Turboencabulator!!! That will definitely make you one of the many tricked out cars on the track. Where did you find the Dingle arms???

:jester: I have a feeling that Fred might do a stand up act if we get him well lubricated. Tom

You must have been spying on me Mike..........Yes to shorter ring and pinion gearing......all done with that. Was a bit of an effort as the live axle is pretty heavy and I had to drag the whole thing out of the car. I'm still going somewhat easy as my back isn't fully up to spec, but is a whole lot better than when I saw you guys last. Turbo under consideration, but I'm really eyeing a higher horsepower engine with fuel injection.........maybe an R1 but prolly won't finish it for next year, rather will have that in 2017. Have swapped carbs to suit engine year (for some reason Honda made my engine's year carbs different from prior years and I didn't have the right set) changed out jets and needle spacers to get more fuel through. Did some exhaust welding too for better flow there. Also I'm considering painting flames on the hood for effect. Pretty cool don't you think?

I can't divulge all my secrets just yet, but hope to have a little more grunt for next year. I sure hope so.

best,

Fred

guys

2016 usa7 debauchery at njmp... I'm in. May have very limited changes this yr and will focus mostly on tuning the front suspension to keep up with my twin R400 brother Simon. Postponing the race to more horsepower to 2017 ... still eyeing 290 hp at the crank .. but thats an aspiration.

Lets first get through 2016 season.

Talk soon

WHOA cowboy, you are a married man with a lovely wife and beautiful children. Why don't you just leave the Debauchery to Croc. :jester:

Hopefully you will bring Kelli and the kids as you know this is a family friendly event. Until the Karting that is.

Brody and Caterham at St. Armands 4.16.jpg

Just had a blast on a 1300 mile trip from CT to FL in my "new" 2013 CSR 260 with my 10 year old son. We spent a few days cruising "The Dragon" and surrounding areas.

I'll be traveling out West this summer and East in 2017. Let me know about any events or track days please :)

Looking forward to it as ever, with or without debauchery. LSD installed so I can keep with my twin out of the corners, just hoping I have time to squeeze in the super charger to take care of the straights.

No chance you will keep ahead of or up with Sebastien if you keep posting in the wrong thread!

So many threads:). Hey Gone Coastal, since we are in the wrong thread anyhow, good job on your epic trip home in your new Cat CSR 260. Most guys ship their purchases home but you went for it. And took your son, who will either never get in it again, or is already planning his own purchase:).
