Actually, my speed meter (analog) with distance recorder and trip meter (VDO, made in Germany) is all dead (a single gauge) at 100,000 (one cycle completed) + 13,567 kilemeter on November 1 2020. No alteration is made to my Birkin 1993 (importer: Marukatsu, Yokohama, Japan).

Hasegawa-san

Thank you for sharing these beautiful images, it really makes me miss Japan! When I lived there in early 2000s, one of my favorite day drives was from our apartment in Hiro-o to Hikone. I didn’t have my Caterham with me, but my company car was a Mitsubishi EVO Wagon; certainly not a 7 but still lots of fun in the mountains around the hot springs. Thanks for reminding me of that fun time.

We Birkin owners are hoping that USA7s will enjoy the good doctor's posts. I have, for years. He has over 114,000 Kms on his Birkin, so one true believer. Always beautiful photos of his trips. Our Birkin Yahoo site has shut down, so we are begging him into this community.
