No need for Bruce to rush back. Ben found an oil leak in the dry sump pan. I suggested super glue...

:D I can soooo relate to this - just hanging out desparately waiting for the new toy to arrive on the driveway so you can leave tire marks all over the road!

Have fun Karl! I look forward to seeing your car in person (and drooling over it) when I get back from Europe in three weeks.

I was lucky enough to get second place in Class 24 at the Lime Rock car show with a Superlight that was so light you could not even see it! Or perhaps Ben had it at the show and did not tell me...

Hopefully the weather report is favorable, enjoy.

I blasted into work this a.m in my se7en, with the exhaust echoing off the houses and buildings, and the tail totally hung out on some my favorite curves, my ears are still ringing! It never gets old!

OK, the moment we have all been waiting for...The Caterham Superlight R400 SV arrived on Sunday and I got to blast about for about 100 miles. What fun...

I still have a few of the missing bits on their way from Caterham USA. Detailed photos to follow once I get them on.

I was pleased that at 6' 6" and 285# I fit pretty well. Now I get to start the upgrade process! (Shhhhhh, don't tell the wife)

Don't tell the wife that you are 285 or that you are upgrading already? :)

I am mighty impressed you can get yourself into that thing. I am 6'2 and about 205 and my S3 chassis is quite snug. I drove an SV and it was relatively roomy, but not 6'6"/285 roomy.

Enjoy the car. Looks fun and I like the color combo.

Croc let me try his on for size. The seats were placed all the way back and Ben at Caterham USA put in lowered floors.

I'd love to get a group blat in before it gets too cold. Steve? Stuart? Mike? Boxologist? Bruce? Anyone else from NJ/NY/CT?

What a sweet ride! I'm orange with envy. Now, I'm sure the car would hate to sit inside for the winter. Maybe you should consider shipping it to an nice, dry western state (like mine) where it can get regular exercise until next spring!

Enjoy! And, as others have asked, please bring on the pics!
