its actually fairly common to have kits sitting around unbuilt. I know where there is a 2006 kit still in its crate. 2012 kit maybe sold late 2013 and only finished building in 2014 - not unreasonable.

My '95 was assembled in '98 and only had around 2700 miles in '07. I'm the 4th owner (as far as I can figure) and it had around 5600 miles when new to me. In less than a year on the road I've added about 1400 miles. :driving:

Anybody up for an R500 in Ohio? I have no affiliation with this but it is here for $64990

http://www.dupontregistry.com/autos/Search/DRauSearchDetails.aspx?itemid=1916562

And a very similar looking car here in FL at a different price?

http://www.dupontregistry.com/autos/Search/DRauSearchDetails.aspx?itemid=2140638

ETA - same car per VIN number but its cheaper on the Ohio location ad.

The good, the bad and the ugly, and everything in between:). I like the 2 original Lotus sevens. Ditto the Stalker and the Caterhams. Sellers tend to market these at this time of year.

Some say, that when one vendor raises the price of a common product, the other vendors will endeavor to offer the equivalent good at a lesser price above cost plus reasonable costs to sell. Edited...or sometimes vendors will offer to sell at below cost, depending on circumstance.

More cars coming out.

Lurkers and dreamers mite want to visit our gathering at NJMP in early July. Shd be one of almost of all the common se7en variants there to look at, compare and maybe even sit in, ride in or take for a little spin around the various track service roads?

The "But will I fit" question will be easily answered. Ditto the "how loud/hot could it be question?" Rumors fly that some of the cars coming mite be for sale also.

These things are coming out of the woodwork.. That Craigslist Storker looks to be well sorted. Lot's of choices and bargains for a perspective buyer.

i've been surprised by storkers at my home on several occasions. showed up in the middle of the night each time. left a shrieking bundle of milk-suckling, poo-spouting baby each and every instance. i'm through with storkers!
