I am a new member to USA7s, and looking forward to meeting new people and making new friends.
I am also particulalry interested in getting to know what it is to own and drive a car I have lusted for since I was a kid.
There has always been something about a Lotus 7, Super 7, Caterham, etc. that has held my imagination since childhood riding around with my dad in his MG TD on a sunny day in New England, and as much enjoyment he and I had during our days togehter, it was always obvious that it was a Seven he too always wanted.
Dad's gone now, but our days together as a father and son driving to nowhere in particular will never be forgotten, neither will our combined wish for a car that was something way beyond just simple transportation. A Seven may be considered as simple by some, yet it transends anything else on the road today. Given the correct set of circumstances (i.e., long arms, correct speed, a relatively smooth road surface) you can even file your nails! - This is not my main reason for wanting a Seven, mind you, but it would be nice to know it's an available option to those of us having the want and the need.
