Thanks for the positive support. It's important to know when you're in over your head and I think I am on this one. I have also advertised locally and had a fair amount of interest, so maybe someone will take the car on, it's a shame it has sat this long and not been enjoyed. At the same time, I've continued to research and would love some feedback on what engine/transmission members would recommend. The 2TC it came would needs a rebuild and parts are hard to find, plus there are lots of newer more exciting choices.

Hello, Recently purchased the Fejer 7 kit from Vanc Isl. Car was built in 1987 but never assembled. Came with full body work and most parts to complete including Toyota 2tc engine and 5 speed transmisson. I thought it would be just a matter of assembly but there is a fair amount of engineering/fabricating required. Also some of the parts require restoration due to sitting for 25 years. It may be wiser to start with a different engine (Miata?) as parts for the Toyota are hard to find. Any way looking for someone in the Lower Mainland of BC to assist with project, I have the space, some time/tools and limited abilities but need a mentor/partner guide me through the areas I'm not skilled in. May also be interested if someone wants to take over the project.
