Greetings Bluemax; Thanks for you kind words. The alternator light in this car is always on with ignition in run position. A well known issue with this generation of De Dion/Zetec Caterhams. Can be fixed with an alternator upgrade, but I never saw the need. To me, it quickly became a normal operating condition and a quick visual reminder that the ignition is 'on.'
