  1. Your car is probably progress or unirad chassis, with the transmission opening that extends all the way to the firewall, where Arch has a roughly 8 inch panel riveted in place and the trans cover behind it. I doubt anyone makes this early style stuff, but that piece is pretty crude anyway.
  2. you can buy new stainless ones, but they are not as nice as the real thing hen's teeth I am afraid
  3. caterham/redline should have them
  4. i believe they were black, though have now absolute confirmation, I have seen one pretty original car that was black, and have had conversations with those who ought to know, and that was the thought
  5. It was years back, but I contacted redline via email or fax and heard back from my Caterham dealer with a 'hey just call me'
  6. I believe the head was ported, bigger intake valves, stronger rocker supports maybe steel center main cap I think the 1340 3 main motors lasted about one missed shift thus their rarity today
  7. I see half a dozen Porsches a day I have never seen another Seven on the road other than on the way to a car meet[and I usually know them] Sure you can take the kids to school in the Porsche, so there is that
  8. I 'think' I bought my lever from Caterham/Redline. Correct except for no proper handgrip. I know i got the cable assembly from them, and the rear axle linkage from a fellow sevener
  9. I still have some of the material left over UPS is mercenary when shipping 2 foot by 6 foot pieces so location is key, I am in the northeast It is somewhat 'brighter' than the original color, so I would recommend doing the dash as well. Caterham did some special editions with red interiors, but the side panels were their 2 piece style, so not correct. Some dealers[rocky mnt?] used to list pieces of material for sale years back
