  1. She rarely goes with me, when she does its NOT SO FAST even if we are just driving slowly. She does brag about it much more than I do to freinds and family and says that perhaps we should also get a more useable car like one with a roof, vette ,69 camaro etc. Sounds like permission to me. longest trip with her 40 minutes, with son 2 hrs, sols 4hrs. Patrick
  2. Im the father 51, son is 25, we both ride honda xr400s on trail rides, as well we ride snowmobiles. Point is stay young. Al I was going to build my car in similar colours as yours because I had seen the caterham and thought that it looked fantastic ( your car). I intend to redo my car next year and will consider a donkervoort colour scheme, monochromatic black or green or gulf le mans blue with orange stripe, rims would be different and completly powder coated. Has anyone ever considered a full body as per a WLR AGM panoz type deal? Any way enjoy that sinister looking Caterham.
  3. Finally posting info on my ride. Built in 06, 929 Fireblade, father son project, 15" rims, T bird spindles and rear end, fully functional, no p/s, no p/b, lots of free air conditioning. It is a lot of fun and it is fast. I just treat it like a bike with 4 wheels. http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/1189541359_tn_100_2488.jpg http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/537007410_tn_100_2490.jpg http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/788334637_tn_100_2571.jpg http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/116644395_tn_100_2573.jpg http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/251223397_tn_P1000452.jpg http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/1450856216_tn_P1000461.jpg http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/15728979_tn_P1000466.jpg http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/166270127_tn_P1000468.jpg
  4. Yes I have lots of pics. I will have my son teach me how to post them on Monday. Where in the forum should they go and how many or what would you like to see? Cheers
  5. Thanks for the greetings. Question one, found forum while looking for pics of sr27 as I was originaly wanting to flare the front sheet metal Dax Rush style. I already have an extra pair of rear panels for next year and just ran out of time for fronts. I also have the push reverse system, also have been known to recruit able bodied passerbys " Please Push on rollbar only please,And mind your ankles and shins near hot pipes". My son has free souvenier burn From Dans turbo car. Next week is hot rod weekend in Orillia where my car is totaly popular as it seems to attract every Brit who claims to have a relative back home that has or had one. FYI coupequat stands for my 1991 audi quattro. I like the cross section of cars that have been represented ie. WCM busaloco ect. I investigated options prior to purchase and one of the reasons I chose Deman was that he was located 45 minutes from my house. Thats my story. Cheers Patrick
  6. Hello everyone, I am new to the forum. Last spring I completed a deman 7 Using a fireblade engine. I am located in Orillia Ont and use my car for Sat morning blats as well as cruise nights, and car shows. I built a custom trailer for transport but have yet to use it. The car has performed flawlessly and has not let me down with the exception of running out of gas, duh. Although low on torque it is extremely quick. My other cars are a twin turbo A6 audi and a dodge rt hemi magnum. They feel downright slow in comparison. I enjoy watching people guess as to what the engine might be and then watch their surprise as i tell them that it is a BEC. Anyway I will post some pics soon after i figure out how. Forum looks good and I liked pics of dragon run. Cheers Patrick
