  1. SteveT, Thanks for the pics, any more? Where would I find them on this forum? The 4 does indeed have a different appearance than the 3. I am a Steve T. also. Thanks
  2. Al, Thanks for the quick reply, and I did notice that this forum apperas to be very friendly and a wealth of knowledge; look forward to reading and posting in the future. Also, have you heard or visited the British Car Forum? It is a great forum as well, very friendly and just about any LBC question can be answered. Here is the URL http://britishcarforum.com/ Try it out for a spin and join! Thanks -- Steve Dayton, OH
  3. Hello all, I am new to this forum, but not to British sports cars; owning an Alpine to Sprite to MGB GT to now a 1976 TR6 unrestored survivor with 30,100 original miles. My question: is the Lotus Seven Series 4 looked somewhat down in the Seven crowd? I have heard this because it is significanty different than the Series 3 that Caterham continues? I had a friend when in high school who's dad bought one of the first Caterham Series 4 with the Twin Cam and let me tell you it was a blast; it still had the Lotus badges and I know that Caterham acquired the rights in 1973 and the Seven my friend had was purchased in '72 or '73. Anyway, I am looking for a Seven and would like an original Lotus and series 4s come along every so often and anything older is very rare. Thanks -- Steve Dayton, OH
