  1. Made 192 rwhp at 8100. The Rev chip is set at 7500 now. She is very healthy up in the rpms. 281-732-6073 shoot me a text. I can send more pics and videos.
  2. SOLD Parting ways with my Birkin. It is listed on facebook as well. 2003 Birkin S3 Zetec 2.0 200hp Ford Type 9 Gearbox with close ratio quaife gear set Solid rear axle with quaife diff Quantum One.Zero Coilovers spec'd by Simon Rogers at Raceshocks.uk Emerald M3DK Ecu, I have the tune files as well. 3. Quick update the 1991-2002 rotor does NOT work or fit. Tom sent his apologies as it was bad Information. It is part #54095 that fits with the machine work to the center. 2000-2007 Ford focus rotor. I will still have to figure out if the 1990 CRX HF caliper bolts up or not. Stay tuned.
  4. Plot twist I found a box of rotors that came with car when I bought it. They are dimensionally the same as what is currently on the car. 1/8" taller and 1 MM thicker than the escort rotor. I'm thinking I can make those work. Don't see why I couldn't unless the thickness difference won't fit in the Honda caliper
  5. Well shit. The ID of the hat on the escort rotor is 4.88" the axle hub face is about 5.25" If I clearance it enough to fit I'll basically cut the hat clean off. It's the same part number for all years between 1991-2002. I expected to clearance the smaller hole on the top. But didn't expect this large interference on the axle hub face.
  6. I have seen photos of added on bolstering like @MV8 was suggesting. Not a bad idea as I do have the stock seats. My problem is I sat in a damn 420 SV and those seats were like a dream, snug and comfortable. And it's going to be tough to recreate that feeling for less than what those seats cost. I think extra bolstering or a quick cushion swap is my cheapest option. But the bar is set. @wdb my tunnel just isn't that tall, of course the side is. But my butt isn't planted well enough to rely on those. I guess a seat that locked my hips in would be sufficient.
  7. I have standard width 2003 S3. 39* chassis width. Those tillets are choice.
  8. I am sure this topic has probably been best to death already. But I would love some fresh input. The ultrashield sport seat seams like a great option. I fit well in the 15" seat, but am not sure if that will fit in my chassis. $580 The tillet carbon stuff is all sexy as hell and looks like it will bolt right in for the twice the price of the ultra shield sport seat. $12-1300 I have seen a couple other seat options from kit car direct, just want to hear what everyone else's experience are. I currently have the factory padded leather seats and at autox I'm sliding my butt all over lol. Thanks in advance.
  9. Tom said to use a 1991-2002 escort rotor, and open the center. Not sure if it is different from the CRX. Brakes Older Live Axle (1).pdf
  10. Time to revisit this topic. The original leak I thought was the axle turned out to be the brake caliper fitting. Crisis averted. But here we are 8 months later and after my first cruise post Texas summer. I have drips again on both sides. One is brakes and one is axle. I already have parts on the way from Tom. Seals and bearings. And as mentioned before I did all the digging I could do and there are no other ring and pinion options for this M68 setup. I have the quaife diff and that's all the upgrade I am going to get. So my questions are, anything crazy to know in advance of this diff and rear end service? Would anyone know where to find carrier bearings if I need them. The car only has 15k miles but I'm sure a lot of them are spirited, and it's 20 years old now. So might as well do them while I am in there, if needed. I am also going from the Volkswagen rear brake setup to the 1990 crx hf in order to clear smaller wheels for autox. Tom said they should bolt up, just on reversed sides and I'll have to open the rotor's center up to clear. Any input on that is welcomed too. Thanks in advance!
  11. Sounds like you have done it all already! I just started autoxing in May of 2020. I am a drag racing convert. I love it, the people, the competition, it's great fun. I went from a cam-t foxbody mustang to the Birkin and it's a whole new world, as they say. Thank you much for the pictures, I am curious to see if I have the same mounting points. And that's a neat trick with the bolt head, I'm sure some head scratching went into that!
  12. Thank you sir! I would love to see some pics. The car's primary use for me is autox and turn in is definitely not where I want it to be yet. I have a set of quantum one.zeros being built for the car right now. And will be running a soft spring in the rear so an anti roll bar is going to be a must. I see you are in Texas, north of Dallas looks like. I am sure the Lonestar Region SCCA would have you! Autox is a lot of fun.
  13. Kind of surprised that no one has an answer to this topic about the difference between the two...
  14. I have read that post, it helps identify caterhams, but not birkins. I was kinda upset that kit car direct didn't know the difference. I found contact info for Chris at Redline and will see if he knows next week when gets back in. I'm just curious more than anything at this point. I'm sure I could make either bar work. Crazy that no one sells parts for these in the US other than Tom. And those are Birkin only.
