  1. thanks for all the good info My car is a 2000 live axle x-flow car. It's nice to have it decoded
  2. Thanks Charles, So the A - chassis type means what ? Which chassis type is it ? We know it's a live axle.
  3. Hi, It's the letters that I'm working on , SDKLLKANSY Thanks for any help.
  4. Thanks for all the responses It's not urgent , and I will want to make sure it's worth doing. The paint that's on there is nice, I'd feel like an idiot if what's underneath isn't that great
  5. Hi Chuck, Yes, please send some pictures. Thanks
  6. Hi. I have a 2000 Caterham with factory paint, and I am interested if anyone has any experience taking it back to bare aluminum ? I'm not sure what Caterham did to prep the tub for paint. Did they really scruff up the aluminum. I would just hate to strip the paint and then find out it won't look right, and then have to repaint ! Thanks
  7. Hi, I have a 2000, crossflow , solid axle Caterham and I'm looking for a few parts to buy or trade for. A set of the original style Caterham 13" wheels, I think they are 5 1/2" - 6" wide . My car has the 13" Caterham minilights that I'm willing to trade. The standard 4-2-1 exhaust system that exits at the back of the car. My car has the 4-1 sport system that exits before the rear wheel, willing to trade. Standard 3 point seat belts. I have the Caterham 4 point belts, again, willing to trade. I used to own a 1980 Caterham and I'm looking for these parts to turn my new car into my old one. Also...does anyone have any experience bringing the tub back to bare aluminum ? Mine is factory painted and I'm not sure what Caterham did to prepare them for paint. I'll put this question in the appropriate spot Thanks
