  1. I realize that a 1800lb car will not have the handeling abilities of a 1200lb car, but still, I've always been the kind of person who sees things first in power/weight, then adaptability, and finaly driveability. I've had rides in a camaro with 650bhp, but its a whole different beast (tb powerglide, dot slicks, etc...) and thats not what I'm looking for. I want something that will still own a stock vette through a road course, but also has world class acceleration. And I guess I'll end up going to knoxville some weekend if I can get into contact with the owners. Who knows, maybe I could get a UT basketball fan to pay for gas.
  2. Hey guys (and gals?), I'm looking to get a ride in a locost, caterham, or any sevens based car somewhere in the middle tennessee area. I'm a full time student thats interning in a speed shop full of big, monsterous engines. I was inspired by big hp #'s and I am currently contemplating putting my 380ci (destroked 400) sbc into a 'sevenesque' locost. Many members of Locostusa.com highly encouraged me to get a ride in a 1200lb 200hp type car before I go off looking to build a 450-460hp 1800lb car. I would really appreciate a ride somewhere local and I would be willing to drive 50 miles outside of Murfreesboro if someone could help me out. Also, I'll pay for lunch or pitch in some gas money if we can work something out. Thanks, Steven
