  1. 1997 Caterham Seven Roadsport 150 is a RHD S3 chassis imported from the UK in Jan 2024 and currently has 21,573 miles. I purchased the Caterham in 2023 while working in Cambridge from Sevens and Classics and it is a fantastic example. This Caterham was factory built featuring Monte Carlo Blue paint and many desirable options. It features the 1.6 K Series engine with the DVA K15 engine upgrade making 150bhp, 6-speed transmission, Titan LSD, 13” Apollo alloy wheels, anti-cavitation Apollo oil tank, roadsport leather adjustable seats, a lowered drivers-side floor, full weather gear, carbon rear arch guards, heated windscreen, cabin heater, FIA roll bar, sequential shift lights, 12v power socket. The car was registered in Florida and comes with a clean title and all applicable customs forms. This Seven has a full service history and was serviced annually at Sevens and Classics prior to export. The Roadsport spec was designed as a perfect fast tourer with its comfortable leather seats and factory Bilstein road-suspension that soak up the miles surprisingly well. The 13” Apollo wheels allow enough sidewall on the Avon CR500 tires to improve the ride quality. Stopping power is provided with 4 disk brakes and stainless lines. A Titan Limited Slip Differential was fitted in 2008. The previous owner used the car for hill climbs in England which is why some of the driver-focused modifications were added. The S3 chassis was developed from the original Lotus Seven so space is at a premium making the optional lowered drives-side flooring highly desired. I am 6’1” and have a comfortable seating position with the seat full aft. The right-hand drive cockpit features twin bucket seats trimmed in black leather with embossed seatbacks and four-point racing harnesses. Black carpeting is fitted on the sides of the center console, and color-matched Caterham Seven-branded mats are under foot. The K15 engine upgrades were done in 2010 by Dave at DVA Power, a highly regarded specialist in the Caterham world. It features a ported cylinder head with standard sized inlet and exhaust valves, the head is fitted with Supersport cams and new pistons. This gives large gains in torque and much better drivability. The only maintenance I had to perform is the annual service and a new mechanical oil gauge since ownership. I am in no rush to sell the car as I still enjoy it on the weekends but would like to move on as I have had a seven-style car for the past 4 years now, love to have one of you guys enjoy it! Asking $30,000 located in Pensacola, FL. If you have any questions or would like additional photos I have plenty, ask away!
  2. The adaptor came with the Stack kit. Depending on what you already have you will just need an M10 to 1/8 NPT fitting.
  3. Solution was to clean the interior threads and I was able to install the M10 adaptor. Not sure why it was not threading initially but after the install there seems to be no leaks after an hour of driving.
  4. Thanks. The suspected 1/8 fitting above the M10 in the photo does appear to thread into the housing on the car (not 100% certain if it is a bspt or npt) so I will plan on installing that directly and check for leaks. I found on an Elise parts website where the K Series oil sender can be 1/8 NPT or M12x1.5 so that is making believe it may be NPT. Haven't seen anyone else talking about this size on the Caterham forums so curious why it is non standard. reference: https://www.eliseparts.com/shop/engine-management-sensors/k-series-oil-pressure-switch/
  5. Hi everyone, My electronic sender has become unreliable and I am refitting a Stack mechanical gauge. After research I saw it should have a M12 size fitting to the oil filter area. I went to install the new kit and the threads seem to be different. I also noticed some thread shavings came out with the old sender. Does this mean it has been retapped at some point? The old sender seems to be a 1/8 NPT. What would your recommendation be for continuing the install? I have some photos of the old sender along with the shaving that came out. Thanks! Logan
  6. The car has the K15 from DVA back in 2010, I will be in touch with Dave eventually to get more details on the build. Not sure yet what ECU it has but I don't believe its from Emerald. Will reach out with any questions for sure! Logan
  7. Hey all, glad to finally make it here. I wanted to start a thread on my '97 Caterham that I have coming over from the UK next month. I fly for the USAF and I was lucky enough to have a paid-for car shipment after my tour in England. I previously had a Westfield kit-car that I loved but had trouble getting it through customs so traded up for a Caterham! Considering the 25 year import laws in the US I settled on a mostly original 1997 Roadsport 150 in Monte Carlo Blue. The 1.6 K series has been built by one of the top UK builders, DVA, and produces 150 BHP. I will be taking delivery in Atlanta and living down to Pensacola FL if there ends up being any meetups in that region. I will be keeping a thread going on registering it in FL in near future and look forward to the adventures! Logan
  8. Yes I’ll make a thread on mine, hopefully share some knowledge. I have all the customs documentation done, just need to get the FL forms for titling knocked out. Cheers Logan
  9. Bill, I am in a similar spot trying to register my imported 1997 Caterham next month in FL. The TL-48 seems to be for replica cars, do you know if that would apply to a factory built Caterham? Logan
