I passengered in one up here in Ontario. Holy light-speed batman. The only car that ever truly scared me with the acceleration. It felt like jumping to hyperspeed. Maybe some day I will do the conversion. It was also too rich for me. I try to keep my toys under $25K. Skip so gald to hear that Lava car went to someone I know. I will love to read about it in the years to come.

I know my turbo MX-5 will not be an equal substitute, but I feel like there are times when it will feel like the right decision. 200HP in 2650 lbs Colin Chapman was a genius and I will miss experiencing all the car has to offer. On the plus side, I will end up driving my turbo MX-5 every day there is no salt on the roads up here as opposed to the handful of days I managed to get out in the Caterham. I will try to weasel my way into some local lotus club runs if they let me in
