color decision... thats so tough... my .02.. i htink you should go with the white.. but add some pearl to it.. and then go with carbon fenders, carbon bonnet, and flat black wheels.. like powder coated.. and def black seats.. but like i said just my .02 haha good luck!!

wow.. my little thread about what 7 to go with has really taken off.. and hats off to you guys i have really enjoyed reading through the posts. and there are some very insane cars out there! i love it... to go back a little in the thread i've been getting information on a new ariel atom. and you guys were discussing price... its 65,000 for the base kit NO extras and i priced one out with a FEW options and left the 245hp setup in it.. nothing crazy.. the biggest option i chose was the magnessium wheels and alcon brakes.. and it was 81,000 and if you want to upgrade to the 300hp version thats another 8500 .. so 90k for a reasonably optioned 300hp atom... thats something to choke on!! haha.. don't get me wrong.. they are worth every penny in performance and exclusitivity.. but c'mon!! hahaha and as for me. you guys are just gonna have to wait and see what i choose.. i have something in the works.. it might not start off as the MOST insane se7en.. but give it time.. its gonna be a bad machine.. one i know will bring alot of fun for a long time to come.. i'll post pics when i move on something and get some feedback! hahaha ..

ok now i'm gonna throw this another crazy direction... i've been thinking maybe i should look at an ariel atom... haha.. i know thats completely different, but based on your guy's experience how does the performance of an atom stack up next to a high hp se7en??

ok guys... i'm having a major dilemma on what to do from this point. i've come up with an idea.. i was thinking about buying dougs westfield and swapping the motor to the 1.8 and do a turbo though flyin' miatas.. and produce 240rwhp... and have quite an aweseom car.. but i'm not fond of orange so i would have to spend some money on carbon fibre to work on getting the look i want. and i think in the 30k range i could be set up for what i'm lookig for. but if i wait until next spring i will be in a better financial position. and i could go ahead and order what i want new. and have it exactly to the specs i'm looking for. and really have the dream track car i'm looking for. whether thats a new westfield caterham wcm or even ariel atom. and i'll have it built just like i like. its tough because i having to wait it out is not something i'm good at. but i feel like i might be able to get what i want instead of trying to make something else into what i'm looking for. anyways . you guys have been so helpful.. i just wanted to bounce that around. thanks ! brad

haha.. i totally agree that having high hp is not all the equation is about. i mean i have gotten addicted to the stupid power car. the main reason i'm getting rid of my vette. is because after my dad got his cayman S.. and i had a chance to get that think out on the country roads.. it reminded whats fun about driving.. going around corners insanely fast! throwing the car around something with some turns is the best fun.. i just want something that impresses me when i dip into the throttle.. i like power to much to give that up.. and maybe i can find something i'm happy with in a 200hp car.. but i'm thinking from what i've read and experienced i probably won't find what i want anyhting this side of 250.. depending on the car and weight and power delivery.

sounds like an impressive machine!! 381whp on a 1250lb car.. what does that equal.. something like 850bhp per tonne? wow!! that brings up a question i have.. how much power can you actually put to these cars and sitll be able to benefit from it on the track? can you guys put that much power down.. or is it a little out of control?? also what other sick sevens are there out there? i assume theres some 300+hp turbo bike engined cars, and of course the rst-v8.. but is that even something you can have in america? haha .. i just love to read about rediculous cars! i also have another question.. does anyone really drive something like a westfield xtr on the street? i just can't see that as reasonable.. ok well i htink thats it for now... brad

thank you so much you guys for all the response.. its not making my decision any easier! well i think that with the right power car i will get what i'm looking for in a car.. the power weight on a super seven can exceed what i have in the vette with the right power!! hahaha.. plus top end runs on the hwy are over rated if you ask me.. heres a video of my vette though.. just thought you guys might be interested http://videos.streetfire.net/video/my-630whp-procharged_65431.htm and today i had the opportunity to go an see doug with auto pro in durham and take a look at and drive the westfield miata sport that he has forsale.. and it is a very fine car!! not quite the powerhouse that i'm looking for. but definatly a really high quality machine, and would make a great car for anyone interested in a westfield. i would love to go to GA and see the sc ultralite, but i don't think i will be able to make it that far away anytime in the near future. i have my plate full. and it would be tough for me to go anywhere thats more than an afternoon trip. well hopefully i will be able to check out that superlight this coming weekend. and find an opportunity to see a birkin and a wcm s2k sometime soon.. guess i'l have to make a drive and make that happen.. i'm ancy to get out and do some driving. i don't know how i'll have the patience to see all these cars.. but thank you again.. and keep the information coming. and anyone else in the NC area.. keep in touch.. thanks guys ! brad
