  8. Al and all, The car is on eBay so if you are interested, let me know. I will end he auction there early with money in hand, otherwise I have to let it play out. The reserve is a little less than what I am asking here so if you are thinking seriously about it send me an email or message here. Kyle
  9. I also have the owners manual and the full build manuals printed out and in PDF format...
  10. Lookig through what I have I can tell you this: Casting stamp on the block is 1999, the code for the engine itself indicates use in a car prodcued 2/00. The following is a summary of what is reresented by the receipts in my posession: Intake system is a 45mm Jenvey, Raceline Manifold Cylinder Heads ported and polished Compression test pre-dyno: 125/130/130/125 Dyno sheet for 192 at the flywheel Emerald M3DK ECU Transmission is a T9 with semi-helical gearkit, also have a receipt for a T9 rebuild kit Quaife alloy top cover, gearlever/shifter assembly, LSD Cams are from Crower (San Diego CA) I have the intake/exhaust open/close timing for anyone interested Receipts for: Wet sump kit, ZX3 front cover kit and engine breather catch can, master and slave cylinders, FocusSport underdrive pulley, aluminum flywheel, Central Coast Motorsports (Focus Central) camshafts and piston set, CNC-Motorsports Eagle ESP 3D H Beam connecting rods Most of the parts were shipped to Stewart's Automotive in Sacramento Californis so I assume they did the engine work. Kyle
  11. Guys, The car would need an OBDII that was not used until after 1996... The aftermarket Emerald system would have to be replaced and then I'd have to hope that it would pass. (all the other internal mods may trigger fault codes etc and fail me anyway). Then every two years this would have to be done again so it could go for inspection. NJ sucks by the way. I have done the research and did not take this decision lightly, I am selling the car. The merits of what 'could' be done can be argued elsewhere. Kyle
  12. All, I can't believe that I am writing this but after my NJMVC inspection and some sould searching I am reluctantly putting my Birkin up for sale only two months (actually less) after I got it here to NJ. The car has only a few hundred miles on it since it came off the trailer, most to Calrisle and back. I have been trying to get the car titled, registered and legally on the road for over a month and after my inspection this week, I don't think that will ever be possible here in NJ. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with the car. Most of the issues were nitpicky about the way the wiring is connected to the fram and the size of the steering wheel. The big one, the one I am not willing to spend the money and time on, is the lack of an OBDII plug which is required on by NJ for any car with a post 1996 engine. The car was fully legal, titled and registered in Texas when I bought it and should be again in probably any state but NJ...@#$%^!!!! More on the car: Purchased 4/09 from Texas Motor Works. Red body and cycle fenders with a silver stripe, black interior, comes with top and birkini, door and tonneau cover, tool kit, spare etc Zetec engine with raceline rail, upgraded cam and other internals, dyno = 190+ HP Suspension is corner weighted Quaife LSD I have a lot of documentation from the original owner on what was done, receipts etc. Asking $25k IM me or email at kstiermd at gmail dot com more pics etc if requested I have added a thrid brake light (LED bar on the roll bar cross member), a new shift knob and a catalytic converter since these pics were taken (attempt to meet NJ regs). I still have the old longer connector if you want to swap out the cat.
  13. I agree with all of the above. Thanks to Mike for the seat in his car and to Bruce for the route. The only thing missing was my car and a little better weather...I thought about you all while I was driving home in the Mini! Thanks again.
  14. Dick Brink has some new listings on his site... http://www.texasmotorworks7.com
  15. Got everything figured out, splced from the driver side brake wire and ran it up through a small hole in the 'trunk' right next to the upright for the roll bar. Have to get some conduit to cover it up but I hooked white (light) to yellow (car) and brown (light) to gray (car) and got the middle and both end lights to work with the brake. Added in the green and yellow lights from the light and now they all come on when the pedal is depressed. Some basic stuff left to mount it and it'll be all set. Thanks for the input. Kyle
