Hi all. My name is Gunter Richtler. I am 67 years old and live in Hamilton Ontario. Together with my friend Andy Hickton we have two Haynes roadsters under construction. Both frames are 95% complete. We are fabrication the suspension components at the moment. My frame although it conforms to Haynes measurements is constructed of 1.5" round tubing for the upper and lower main rails, as well as some verticals and diagonals. Andy's frame follows the Haynes book to the letter. I will be using a BMW 318 as donor. Andy is looking for a Honda S2000, so far without success. Both of us are looking to construct the body including nose cone in aluminum. We have access to a professinal grade english wheel which will hopefully aid in turning out a decent job. I have been fabricating all my life, mainly building aluminum sailboats. I would be happy to share info, technicals, and methods with all members. We will be happy to accept any help we can get.
