  1. yes, I found the ad here and was able to negotiate a good deal, thanks!!!!!
  2. I was building and dialing in a single seater open wheel FMod to autocross and then my son and daughter came to an autocross and now they are hooked and want to race. So I sold the FMod and picked up the attached. Have been a site member for 13 years and I thought about building one but wanted something for the remaining autocross's this year. I am in Portland OR area. These are the details I got from the previous owner who built it: ● Started with the Ron Champion 2nd edition book “How to Build a Sports Car for 250 British Pounds” ● Changes from the book plans: ○ 4” wider chassis to account for the V8 and 8.8” rear end ○ 2-3” taller to account for the V8 and taller nose cone ○ Front suspension A-arms modified to work with heim joints and Mustang II front spindles ○ Firewall profiled to allow V8 to move rearward 6” to improve weight distribution ○ Tranny tunnel tubes upgraded from ¾” square steel to 1” square steel for additional stiffness ○ Diagonal braces upgraded from ¾” round steel to 1” square steel for additional stiffness ○ Added aluminum C-channel for strut tower brace for added stiffness ○ Straight back design option to fit larger fuel tank drive train is a rebuilt and from a 1984 Mustang V8. because he didnt stretch the chassis and the motor is pushed back for 50:50 weight distribution the pedals are very close (15") from the front edge of the seat. This makes it hard while pulling Gs. I will post some pictures to get some ideas on how to move the pedals back 3-4" I will be researching this site and posting some questions as I make some modifications.
