Bump for a FUN driving car!

All, This was the former Westfield importers demonstrator. I bought it from him without a title and it is currently titled and tagged in Oklahoma. I have owned it approximately 11 years and it has been on many a midwest 7's outing as well as driven locally. Approximately 5k on the vehicle, though the odo does not work as the speedo cable was never hooked up. We use a Garmin to monitor our speed. Toyota 2TG 2.0 DOHC JDM engine that started life as 1600. Custom cams, pistons, headers and exhaust. Lightened flywheel, twin side draft solex carbs. 5 speed Toyota trans, Datsun 1200 diff with Datsun comp positrac with disc brakes. Almost new tires(less than 25 miles) 15" wheels (5) adjustable front and rear anti roll bars, adjustable front SPAX shocks. Headlights low/high tulrn signal, tail ights, brake light all work. No horn, wipers or heater/de4frost as they were never installed. This is a fun and enjoyable car that makes us smile just walking by it much less driving it! $18,950.00 Please contact me with any questions karrake at live dot com

Thank you for your response, Martin! Great news! Just back from an extended test drive, and it looks like the header wrap really made a difference! What a relief! Solid pedal and much much cooler underhood temps. WooHoo Wendell

Hello! I have a LHD Westfield with a Toyota 3tg engine and a 2tg cylinder head. Handbuilt headers(because they are SO CLOSE) really heat up the master cylinder and brake line to the front brakes. I have wrapped the headers and the line this evening and have not had the chance to test how effective it will be. I was curious if anyone on the forum has a similar engine/set up and they would post some pics of the master cylinder and exhaust in the engine bay. Has anyone used a duct to succesfully circulate fresh air to keep things cool? It appears I will need to modify the pedal box and go with dual master cylinders if my fix is ineffective. so I am looking for ideas that will give me a place to start. Help me make the Midwest sevens gathering this weekend! Thanks in advance! Wendell

Went for a drive today and my ongoing problem with my LHD Westfield girling master cylinder have returned. Low output from the rear port that actuates the front brakes. I am looking for a master cylinder that will bolt up to a 2.250 vertical mount. Any westfield owners that have used something other than a Girling?? If so what did you use and where did you buy it? Thanks in advance! Wendell

I have decided to build a trailer that I can use for both my Westfield and a small formula car(not at the same time). The enclosed area will need to be 14ftX6ft and be about 5ft tall on the inside and have access to the front of the car through a hatch/door. I have looked through the thread that folks outlined what they use to tow their seven. Some had modified existing single axle trailers and enclosed them using steel or wood. While very informative a more detailed exlpanation of construction would be helpfull. I want to enclose the trailer for peace of mind at motels etc and use a single axle design. Would the folks that built there own enclosure or open trailer be willing to share build photos, designs and advice? Thanks in advance! Wendell

We are really looking forward to meeting all the folks and seeing all the different seven variations! Any news on which day the autocross will be?
