Hi there,

New on the forum and proud owner of a 1986 Westfield Prelit with a lotus twincam engine. http://i58.tinypic.com/28vpyfb.jpg

I recently ordered 4 Protechs shocks assembly and I was adviced to have 13' at the front and 14' at the back. (to replace my dead spax).

I have 13' minilites with 185/60/13 tires.

The Protechs shocks are now mounted on the 4 corners...

The issue is that 13' for the front seems a bit high to me as the car is now lower at the back than at the front, this even with the adjustement ring up at the back and low at the front. I have 16cm between the chassis and the ground at the back of the car and around 18cm at the front... it should be the opposite...

I can't get the wishbons parallel to the ground as you can see on this image: http://i60.tinypic.com/t8nkmg.jpg

Is 13' to high for the front ?? I know 12.5 inches is usually recommended but the previous 12.5 12.5 spax were really to low to give me an acceptable ground clearance.

Any advice much appreciated !

Cheers

Greg
