FOR SALE 2001 Build Caterham Seven

For sale is my 2001 build Caterham Seven. Completed in 2002.

With the California Specially Constructed Vehicle, SPCN, number. Often called SB100. Registered in California.

I have the original heated windscreen with side curtains, no chips or cracks. No top.

Spare transmission tunnel cover never installed.

Zetec SVT Engine with Jenvey throttle bodies. About 176 HP at the rear wheels. Raceline aluminum wetsump.

Long first SPC semi-helical gearbox with 3.92 differential gears, Quaife limited slip in Ford Sierra diff. I also have 3.62 gears for the diff. de Dion rear suspension.

4 pot Outlaw front calipers and newer master cylinder.

About 29,000 miles. 15K of those on the SVT Engine installed new. With adjustable cam gears and VCT timing delete kit.

ECU is Pectel T6. It has a nice map now and probably no need to change it. Map done on a hub dyno at Bisimoto. I'll included a laptop with the software and
spreadsheet with engine loom details.

Uprated front springs and sway bar. Originals included with sale.

I replaced the fuel pump in 2018. See the how to on this website. You can do it without removing the roll bar.

Other bits that I don't recall right now all included. As I never drive in the rain and the wipers won't work with the Brooklands, wiper motor and other bits removed for weight savings. All included in sale. weight on scales with 1/2 full tank and no spare about 1250 lbs. Close to the Superlight weight.

Price $40K  $35K, offers considered.

The photo below was when first built  Needs polish if you want it this shiny again.

Call or email for more photos. Best is to come drive it if interested.

Located in Newbury Park, CA.

You are correct.  This is not the SV but an S3.

The weight with 1/2 tank of fuel is down about 1250 lbs.   That is without the spare, wiper motor, and other bits I removed for weight savings.

I have all the bits to reinstall.

That is correct.

They were designed for the Englishman of 1957.

Taller guys have fit in them but with lowered floors and raised rollbar.
