Baldy
Hi Folks! Proud new owner of a 1991 Caterham Super Sprint here and I am beyond excited! One of the first modifications/improvements I'd like to make is replace the seat with a Tillett W1i-40. I'm on the taller side (6'2") and would like to install in a way that maximizes leg room. As far as I can tell, there are two options for the W1i-40, one with a back frame and one without. Has anyone attempted to install the model without a back frame directly to the back and/or bottom pan using some rubber gaskets to get the right seat angle? Basically poke some bolts through the seat and cover the heads with padding. Am I pushing it too far with the creative install?
