Hi everyone,

I recently bought a Birkin S3 kit car and have just finished getting it back into roadworthy condition. Up until now, I’ve only been using it for track days, but I would love to finally register it for the public road.

Unfortunately, all of the original paperwork for the car has been lost.

Where I live, there is a special registration procedure available, but it requires me to present official proof of the exact year the chassis was manufactured at the factory.

I am trying to figure out who I can contact who might still hold the original factory records. I found the chassis number 1944 stamped under the roll bar mounting points.

Does anyone know who currently manages the archive or records for Birkin, or who might be able to help me get an official statement or certificate confirming the build year of this chassis?

Any leads, contact details, or advice from anyone who has gone through a similar process would be massively appreciated!
