240 Posted July 16 Posted July 16 As I'm getting to know my 420 Cup, I've noticed the 2nd to 3rd upshift (without the clutch) is a bit less smooth than all the others (both wide open flat shift and partial throttle) , like the ignition cut is longer, so there is some slight hesitation during that one upshift, leading to a slight back and forth sensation compared to all the other upshifts. My dealer is helping me with options to try to optimize it (I'm currently doing some real time logging via easimap of the parameters like shift voltages to start the process), I've also read one other blog post in the UK noting this in his car as well, so was wondering if it's a feature or a bug in the stock ECU set up, perhaps because of the larger space between those gears necessitates it, etc. As I dig deeper, I was curious if any others with a SADEV setup on a stock ECU also see this 2nd to 3rd gear difference.
