Road trips

I thought this might be of interest to everybody but wasn't sure where to place it. While looking for engine upgrades on motorcycle sites, I ran across local motorcycle clubs in my area that had routes for trips and had been evaluated for bikes. I planned on doing these trips next year. I included 2 links only for examples.

I was thinking if everybody from each state found a local motorcycle clubs routes they could be put in a road trips linked page or in the appropriate events section. Motorcyclist seem to find the best roads.

 

I was getting bored with my unplanned roadtrips this past fall. I found enough routes to last a couple years. These sites are more sport-tourer oriented and seven friendly. Some of the road pictures I viewed look like a lot of fun.

We have a great motorcycle-rides web site for California, www.pashnit.com.

Unfortunately they now charge $20/year access to the site, but I find it well worth the price.

Not from Arkansas but found some terrific roads in the northern part of the state while visiting. Web site:http://www.arkansas.com/outdoors/motorcycling/

Since there has been talk of a 2008-2009 national meeting with the Ozark area being a possibility thought this might be worth a look.
