bringing in a car from Canada

Hey gang,

 

Has anyone brought in (imported) a 7 from Canada?

I have a line on a nice car but am worried about customs - does anyone have any information on this?

 

I checked with Hawaii dmv and it appears to me that it could come in as a Special Interest Vehicle - like a hot rod or a replicar.....

 

It meets all information under SIV's for Hawaii's DOT but I am wondering if I am missing something. BTW no emissions testing in Hawaii.
