solder_guy Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 I visited the Junkyard to get some parts for my old Celica .. and they have a complete section dedicated to the CLUNKERS .. and a sign that says that the engine heads and blocks of these cars are not for sale .. Nearby I saw a red Pontiac Fiero with a CLUNKER sticker on it! Now how can a Fiero be a clunker when it does not get that bad gas mileage? On the engine was a tag which says, ... "This engine is from a vehicle that is part of the Car Allowance Rebate System (CARS). It has significant internal damage caused by operating the engine with a sodium silicate solution (liquid glass) instead of oil." I stole the tag! .. Rob
