slomove
Reminds me of finally doing that living trust. But recently I bought a motorcycle and ride it on L.A. freeways, in comparison I guess the Seven is pretty safe
pi7ot
It's a shame really. I drive my 7 on the street and I have encountered senior citizen drivers and others with cell phone prosthetics(sp?) that will simply pull up to the stop sign, then proceed. The cell phone addicts are reckless and careless. They don't stop or yield. The seniors are different. They stop, and look, and wait. If a normal sized silhouette approaches, they typically wait. An unusual silhouette like a 7 or a bike seems to cause some problems, sort of like a cognitive dissonance, imo. They see you, you sense they do, but they will pull out when you're right on top of them. Imo, safety harness and other sundry equipment in use on a street driven 7 is pointless when it concerns car vs 7 collisions. Especially when most of the cars that are prone to hitting you are 3 ton SUVS and Cowboy Cadillacs . You have no crush zones. You're going to get run over, period. The reflexes of your 7 and your situational awareness are all a 7 driver has. Traffic laws do not pertain to 7ners, you have no rights(especially no right of way) , so drive it like they're all out to get you. Be fast and safe. m
gjslutz
I agree on the senior 100 %. I had to trash a bright yellow Pantera to keep from killing both of us when one pulled out in front of me at the last second "1973". I had to trash my body and crotch rocket that had the bright lights on in the daytime for the same reason in 1986. Now I am one of the senior drivers, look out for the "7" with an lance mounted in the front as I scream down the road, my turn!
