Third Annual LEXINGTON LOCOST LOUNGE - August 7-8, 2010

The Lexington Locost Lounge has been a big hit the first and second times...real laid-back, agenda-free affairs. Both times we've gotten enough drivers, builders, and wanna-be's to crowd up the garage pretty good. Lots of lies, advice, encouragement, test drives, and too much food. (Even valuable prizes, like a soup can or toothpaste!) For our third stab at this, we'll have all the comraderie of the first two events, but we're shooting to get more drive time in for everyone.

 

Plan on being in Lexington, Kentucky on Saturday, August 7th for Lounge Proper. If you want to fill the whole weekend, stick around Sunday for more Locost mayhem!

 

We'll open the doors to the shop all day, and perhaps we'll get an invite from one of the other local builders (JL1, Pook, Rivera...) to see what's brewing in their skunkworks as well.

 

Depending on our mix of road-worthy vehicles (Locost or otherwise), a blat or two are definitely in order. I'll come up with a couple of courses to run. Maybe one to lunch, another to dinner? We've got an endless supply of fun, twisty roads to get lost on. (Said another way, we've got a complete lack of straight roads!)

 

Sunday there is an autocross in town, or we can stick with blatting...did I mention there's no shortage of twisty destinations around? :-D

 

So come to Kentucky the first Saturday in August and show off your ride, get your first ride, or just hang out with some fellow gear-heads.
