Jackal
I have been looking into my first 7 with great excitement, and find myself learning a lot about making this car work out for me. I apologize if this has been covered before, however I was unable to locate it through a couple searches. The car I am looking at is partly assembled, and has never been registered anywhere. The majority of the assembly has been completed here in Alberta, and I will be finishing it off here. I have checked with a shop, and the current owner, but still wanted to triple check on the process of registering a 7 in Alberta. It sounds like the process is simple enough, and can be done by the shop. A friend who just imported a car (Mercedes) from the US, mentioned that I should be cautious as there can be complications. I hope to be able to enjoy the car during the short summer in Alberta commuting to work and Auto-x's. Has anyone had complications in registering a homebuilt car in Alberta? Is there anything I should be aware of before tackling the build? Thanks in advance for the help.
