North NJ Spirited Drive Saturday August 13th

Here is a post from Britishspeed about the annual NNJ spirited drive. Last year Mike, Stuart and I attended. Me without a car yet. This is a great group and it would be fun to have some sevens there.

Hello, Driving Fans in the NYC area,

 

 

 

As promised earlier this year, I am creating one of our signature Spirited Drives through Northern NJ. This will be a two hour Drive from North NJ, through some of the most scenic and twisty two-lane roads in Sussex County NJ, and Orange County, NY.

 

The Date is

Saturday, August 13

. While the details are not set in concrete, I'll tell you that the Start will be sometime around Noon in western NJ and the Finish will be at the Lotus Shack in Chester, NY (home to the Lotus collection of David and Sandy Nagler). You may remember the 'Shack from last year's Catskills Drive.

 

I'll BUMP the thread as info becomes available. RSVPs are requested so that we know how many goodies to have on hand at the end.

The Start will be at Mac's Diner, 1420 State Route 23 North, in Butler, NJ. This is 2.5 miles NORTH of the 23 and 287 junction (Between Boonton and Kiel Av on 23 North)

 

The OFFICIAL Start Time (gassed up & ready to go!) is 1:00 PM. I'll be at the Diner about 12.

 

It's gonna be a GREAT TRIP.

 

If you (or a Significant Other) wishes to join us for the PARTY at the finish (32 Elkay Drive, Chester NY, 10918) show up around 3:00 - 3:30 PM. Don't expect to leave the party early.
