Westfield Prelit Seven / Sierra trans / engine mounts

I picked up a "prelit" Westfield Seven a few weeks ago. Kind of a "project" car.

One of the first things I noticed was that the engine ( Ford Kent xflow) was in crooked. upon further inspection the driveshaft at the rear of the trans ( Sierra T-9 5 speed ) was slightly rubbing the frame due to the engine being crooked.

With a floor jack under the engine, I took off the mounts to see what it would take to get it sitting straight. It turns out the "lump" on the R/S of the bell housing behind the starter was the problem. I would up cutting out that section of the bell housing and now have the motor sitting fairly straight and the drive shaft in the middle where it should be. Only problem is now my motor mounts won't line up anywhere near where they should ( I don't know what kind they are ) and I must fabricate some.

Has anyone else gone through this installing a T-9 trans? I would love to hear some input and opinions.

Thanks, Darrell
