A sensitive Xmas present for your sweetheart

As tradition has it, we gathered together for our Christmas bash. Friends, family, neighbors and hangers on.

 

The usually format is that sometime during the evening Santa comes in and everyone has the opportunity for sit on his knee and receive a Christmas present from their loved one, the added requirement is that the giver reads a poem. Now needless to say this is a sensitive time where the black bra and crutch less panties is not a good idea, so here we go.

 

Wife sits on Santa's knee, so far things are going well, probably for Santa, now its my turn to read the poem.

 

A wife’s best friend isn't diamonds

Or lipstick, eye shadow or blush

In the end, It's not just her husband

Who gives her that wonderful rush

 

Hidden inside her purse

or under her pillow case

is an 8 inch electric wand

that hums at a steady pace

 

So its happy Christmas from Santa

and an early night to bed

as for me I guess it’s dog house

or looking for batteries in the shed.

Needless to say the new electric toothbrush put a real smile on her face. I guess after 35 years in marriage we have learned to have a good laugh at each other.
