Engine Installation Question

Hi,

We have just set the engine (Lotus Twin Cam) in place to fabricate the engine mounts and it appears to be in the correct position, height wise, with the top front edge of the cam cover just a little lower than the rear edge of the nose. However, the sumps appears to be too low, sticking out below the floor but at least a couple of inches.

 

Is there a different sump that is generally used to help this problem?
