Northpole
I am working on a small car project with Hayabusa engine. As I cant use the original fuel pump, what fuel pumps can I use? Hayabusa needs 42 psi, but I need to know from what cars I can use fuel pumps. Thanks

Hank
A Walbro 255lph pump should be more than enough to run as an external pump. You can pick one up for a mustang for less than $100.

Thanks, but then I would need a return pipe/line and a fuel regulator, right? I dont have return line or a fuel regulator. The fuel system I have now in just one fuel line from the fuel tank to the fuel rail.
Hank
I haven't heard of a Hayabusa with a returnless fuel system. The only returnless system I am aware of is for some of the later model Ford Mustangs. The Westfield Megabusa that I recently sold has a Hayabusa engine with an external fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator. There are 2 hard lines that run from the engine bay to the rear. One connects to the fuel pump outlet and the other returns fuel to the fuel tank. The fuel pressure regulator is in the engine bay along with the fuel filter.
