Hello All,

I'm shiny new to the site and have been lusting after your toys for quite some time now.

I live at the southern end of Orange County where I work for the National Science Foundation as a director of a rapid technology lab (wooo, rapid prototypes, additive manufacturing, 3d printing!).

Anyway, I've been wanting to get into the seven scene for quite some time but have yet to run in to anybody with one in real life (I've owned plenty on my Xbox, but have only seen one proper 7 at a cars and coffee event in Irvine).

My current rides are a rather rusty rhd mkIII Mini I picked up to goof around in a year ago, a Ducati s4rs Monster, and a base Saturn Ion I use to haul my mountain bikes around (and myself of course, it is the only vehicle I have with ac and a means of keeping the weather out). So long as the Saturn keeps running, my other means of conveyance can be far less practical.

Anyway, I'm hoping to pick up a seven one of these days, or at least that's the plan. If any semi local people would be willing to take me for a ride, it'd be suuuper appreciated (seriously, who's the new guy asking for favors?) I do work around 7 days a week, but I'd do what I could to work around your schedule.

Ben,

I'm on the west end of the county but would be happy to take you for a ride. My seven is a bit of an oddity (Locost frame, bike engine, sequential shifting and no reverse) so might not represent the more normal Sevens available, if any Seven could be considered normal.

Hello Aaron,

Thank you very much for the offer. Your ride sounds like a terribly impractical blast, I like it. I have considered doing a bike engine conversion on my mini on numerous occasions, so I'd be excited to see what one is like in a seven. I'll hit you up via PM.
