Help! Birkin Ball Joints take two

Hi all. I have a thread up on the topic already, but my mobile version of the forum will not allow for search.

 

I am replacing the upper ball joints on the 99 Birkin and ran into a snag. I purchased the ball joints discussed in the other thread (the Lada ones) from a shop in another city. Unfortunately my ball joints differ from the ones I got.

 

I'm checking to see if anyone else has seen this issue on the Birkin and what ball joints you used.

I'll amalgamate the two threads when next at a proper computer, but really need to start moving forward with the repair so I'm posting here first.

I recently purchased new ball joints from Dick at Texas Motorworks. The pair, including the threaded adjusters cost about $50 and came in a few days. Much simpler than finding a "comparable" part.
