  1. Hi I'm looking for 1x Bilstein: Front Spring/Damper, wide track. http://www.caterhamparts.co.uk/product.php?id_product=678 For a Caterham Superlight R 2005. Would be open to full Spring/ damper set, Nitron/ Ohlins, anyone have any set ups for sale..? Thanks
  2. I have one set, off a Caterham.
  3. I have a set.. I'm willing to part with, PM me..
  4. Hi I'm looking to paint or wrap my superlight , in gloss black (currently yellow). Has anyone, that has had their car wrapped, had issue's with: * Rock chips, that show through to paint below * wrap melting near the exhaust * fuel coming in contact with wrap * hard to get to edges that can't be wrapped I'm quite particular and am steering towards paint at this point, as I can't stand the idea of being able to see yellow peeking through somewhere. Any feedback, would be appreciated. Thank you Anthony
  5. Hi I'm looking for: * REAR VIEW MIRROR. Black, that mounts to the windscreen (windshield). * EXHAUST GUARD: Black, 6-7". Thought I would ask on here, before I started hunting online. Does anyone have a good source for Caterham parts, in the US..? that actually any hold stock.. Thank you Anthony
  6. Thank you all, for your input, I'm not a big fan of Forums, but I have to say this seems to be one of the most helpful and pleasant forums, I've been on. I found insurance today, through American Southern Home (thank you Klasik 69). $563 a year.. deposit paid..Pick up the superlight next week.:hurray:
  7. I'm getting there, spent the last few days calling insurance companies, Haggerty told me to call back in a few years..which I found quite amusing.. All I can say is its way cheaper than insuring a car in the Uk.
  8. Mopho.. I appreciate your feedback, after further investigation, my driving record is not that bad, but living in for Oregon for 5 years did me no favours, the worlds slowest driving state. being 36 and in the LACMA district, isn't helping...either.. I am however interested in the Superlight you are talking about, could you possibly give me more info..? I'm not sure you can PM me, as I'm new on here, but if you could drop me an email, I would be most appreciative. my address is Hope at ernsteverything dot com, I would hate to dive head long into a lemon, I can't register. Many thanks Anthony
  9. the problem is the VIN, as it doesn't seem to come up on any of the insurance company databases. Hence the ridiculous price, as we have an existing policy with Met life for 4 vehicles.. has anyone else encountered this problem..?
  10. thank you, I appreciate the recommendations, I'll get on it tomorrow, If I can get it below $1.5k annually I'll be happy.. Anthony
  11. Hi I'm looking to buy a superlight R, I have a pretty terrible driving record and insure myself under my girlfriends policy. The quotes I have so far are around the 4k mark annually, which seems pretty ridiculous. Any pointers or classic specific insurers, you can recommend, would be appreciated. Thank you
