I am also looking into build or buy. The problem I have is that I'm 6'8" and have a 36 inch inseam. I have access to a 6.2 supercharged CTS-V engine and 6 speed trans. I also have access to a jag quick change independent rearend. But I wouldn't buy if I could buy a car I would fit in. If I was to build a frame. I think I would do it in Aluminum A buddy of mine would help me with the tig welding. I am having trouble finding detailed info on building my own. I find alot of general info. I also can't seem to find anyone local to me even interested in the 7's Michael

I was planning, on building a lotus 7 442e chassis. I was wondering if you can answer me a few questions about your chassis. What Plans did you use for yours. What is the leg room between the seat to the pedals with the larger chassis. I'm 6'8" with a 36 inch inseam and want to know if I will actually fit in it before building at least a mock up. Where did you find the fenders nose piece etc. The two places I found online don't produce anymore. This is my first post, and just found this site. Michael
