….so here is some photo proof of what slows the car. It is as I thought: the front calipers are not releasing. I forced them open which helped but they need a rebuild. I tried Dave Bean on Friday but they were closed. Does anybody recognize what rearend it is ? It seems to be fine but I might as well address those brakes also. T.I.A.

Thanks folks. If memory serves me correctly (NSM anymore), I think the fronts are the same ol’ stuff. The rear end is not like my Cortina stuff. I’ll take some wheels off this weekend and see how it measures up.

After sitting unused for two+ years, it appears my braking system is stuck. Seems like the front calipers are not releasing. I want to go through the entire system I’m in California. Where can kits for front, rear and M/C be purchased ? Also, I’d like to change to brake fluid that doesn’t seize… suggestions please. The car is no fun to drive with brakes that only slow you down. Thanks.

I'm looking for a Lucas fuse block type SF4. It holds 4 glass fuses. It has a black, screw-on cover. They make them nice and shiny and new but I'm looking for something with a little character. Thanks.

I'm looking for some SVT parts that you may have: 1) the cover that covers the top of the pulleys on front of a 2004 SVT; 2) the cover that's covers the spark plugs on a 2004 SVT; 3) the 1/8 steel engine lifting plates that bolt on to the diagonal corners of the top of the head. John.... Still interested in the L551 lights. Also still looking for 2 or 3 original bonnet catch sets. And a S2 transmission tunnel cover in good shape. Lights are for me. Bonnet catches are for MP. Back again.... By early Seven I mean Series 1, Series 2, maybe S3 and Lotus VI. By original I mean latches that were actually made in the 1950s or 1960s. I'm looking for the kind of latch that has the waffle pattern on the back of the latch. Hope this clarifies. Thanks for the time and any leads. Looking for 1,2,3 or four.
