  1. Thanks, folks. I'm not sure what's going to happen to her just yet. The frame looks to be fairly twisted, and theres a good many tubes that need to be replaced. Now that I feel pretty confident about building a chassis, I may go a slightly different direction this time, and use the same components. I was having WAY too much fun before the incident to give up now. The car was definitely in its element for the last few laps...   2. Hey folks, remember me from the 777 event? We'll I had a little incident yesterday. Luckily, the car stayed pretty well intact and protected me. The pivot bolt on the floor mounted pedal came loose, and when I went for the brakes at the end of the straight, the pedal went to the floor. I was pretty sure I was going to meet the maker at that point, but I got slowed down enough to avoid injury. Video here: Somehow, I only have a sore neck... Mark
