Hi I have a 1984 Fejer and I am trying to collect any information or original documentation on Fejer cars. We started a section in the library to share with other members. If you can forward any info that would be awesome and can arrange to put it in the Library. thanks in advance Bob

Effective wind deflector/buffeting reduction?
Bob.Dobos replied to Cueball1's topic in General Sevens Discussion
Rather than the scoop at the top of windshield I chose to install a NACA Duct under the car on the side opposite of the header. Then ran a 3 inch high heat resistant hose to the top of the tunnel. Then put a 2 1/2 splitter on the inside with a short run to the driver's and passengers footwell. This hose was capped with a 360 degree dash vent cover. This provides cooler air to the feet and gets the hot footwell air moving as a bonus. I think that this reduces the neg pressure zone at the footwell and helps with buffering too. Cheers B -

On the blog select 2020 the year I imported my car. There is a link in that section that talks about the import and inspection process. I will go grab my registration and import forms from the garage and verify the years (15 or 25) that was on the forms the inspector, cbsa and icbc gave me. Bob

I completely agree the key is to extend the from the windscreen back as far as possible. Taller did not seem to matter as much. I extended mine about 6". This way all the buffering from the air hitting the fender does not enter the cabin. I also modified the top to match. As a bonus the visibility with the top on was improved. -
If the vehicle is over 25 years the process is easy. I have some detail and costs on the process that I used when importing mine from Washington State to BC in the blog below. https://rmdlotus7.blogspot.com/?m=1 If you can register something in the USA as a "1973 Lotus s3" it will make your importing process a breeze. Anything over 25 years is exempt from federal inspection and you will only require a provincial inspection. A couple examples are federal inspection requires headlights lights at set minimum height, bumpers at a set height. On the provincial inspection form it says headlight (check box it has headlights), under bumpers (checkbox N/A)... Definatwly use an importer so that they get the USA 72 hour clearance and use the paperless import process. Import fee was $250, shipping $800 and sales taxes are based on the value you set on the import form. Good luck. Bob

I tried different wings and was never happy with result so went with modified doors. I removed everything but the metal lower door frame and mounts then cut m10 lexan to replace the entire door panel. Works great
