I had a Kerker 6 into 2 on it so it was especially great sounding. A friend said it reminded him of Ferrari V-12s. Or maybe I should go one step more towards insanity and build a seven around v-12 6-speed; I'm just not sure where I'd sit

I used to own a Honda CBX years ago and loved the sound of the 6-cylinder engine. Granted these days the output is on the lower end of the scale (102 HP stock IIRC) out of 1047 cc. Here is a good clip of what one sounds like. Has anyone done this?

My 1995 Miata received a thunk in the side courtesy of teenage son taking the car for a "spin" and a power pole. I'll be separating the car into Westy 7 parts and non-Westy parts then take the carcass to the scrap metal dealer. If anyone is interested in the Seattle area PM me and come by soon and can hear it run (it even still drives). I'll re-post when the autopsy is completed & the Westy parts ready for sale. I'll take a digital video of the engine running before it comes out so latecomers can still hear it run. Or if a NWesterner wants to come by and make an offer on the car, as is, so they know they'd have ALL the bits that'd be fine too. If interest in the whole car is there I'll post pictures. Dave
