I've lost a garage spot and my skin doctor says "no more convertibles" so I've decided to sell my Zero. I've only had it a few months. It was built by Marlin Press and had less than 700 miles on it when I bought it. Now close to 2500 miles. He completed it in 2018 after a 2 year build. His receipts exceed $34,000. Now located in the San Francisco Bay Area and has an SB100 smog-exempt status and current registration through May 2024. Power from a rebuilt 2001 Miata engine with a Haltech Elite 1500 ECU, Skunk2 intake. 6 speed. Torsen diff and larger "sport" brakes. Wheels are Konig Heliogram 15x7 wheels, Bridgestone RE71RS tires 205/50 (about 1500 miles on them). New Sparco Sprint seats New Impact 5 point harnesses Mishimoto thermostatic sandwich plate Speed Hut gauges Tonneau cover, soft top and doors. I would bet that Marlin made them as he did the side deflectors. It's just a simple piece of tinted/smoked lexan. Here are some older pics that the Marlin included. I'll take some more. I have a different steering wheel now and the red Sparco Sprints have been swapped for black.

10 days in and I'm having a great time getting to know the car. It needed new tires because of their age (and lack of stick) so I figured might was well put new wheels on too. Konig Heliogram 15x7 ET35 with Bridgestone RE71RS in 205/50. Rears fit nicely but fronts needed a 20mm spacer but now fit perfectly.

I've been looking for a Super7 for a while but being in California, it's even harder to find one, SB100 and all that. This popped up a couple of hours north of me. I talked to the builder who is a really great guy and a retired engineer. It's from Great British Sport Cars and features a 2001 Mazda Miata drive train. I was super impressed with the build quality and his attention to detail. A deal was quickly made. I can't wait to get it out for a proper drive.

Hi all, I've just joined because I've been interested in Caterhams/7's for a long time. Recently I went to visit Rich at Kampena Motors in Sonoma. He was nice enough (or evil enough?) to let me drive his 420 Superlight. I was instantly hooked. I'm in the process of selling my 1973 Pantera and have put a deposit down on a (very far away) Lotus Emira. I'm looking for something to fill the void and the Caterham does it for me. But so does an Elise so I have some thinking to do. First world problems, as the kids say...
