  1. I have finally decided it is time to part with my 1962 Lotus Super Seven. I really love the car, but I just don’t drive it any more. It was last driven in 2023, and although I have had good intentions to drive it, it just doesn’t seem to happen. Maybe old age is creeping up on me. Anyway, I have history on the car back to around 1968, where it raced at the USRRC race in Riverside, CA. It finished 4th. It was raced most recently in vintage events, and I raced it a couple times before hanging up my drivers’ suit in 2019. I converted it for street use at that time. Engine is Kent 1500, prepared by Midwest Motorsports. Two races and maybe 100 miles of street use since built. Gearbox is Ford semi-close ratio box, and Triumph rear axle with Quaife diff. Very fast streetable car. Clean Ohio title, and VDCA logbook. $34,000.
  2. I have some heater pieces for an S4 Seven. I have a heater core and the "box". no motor/fan or bottom plate. I don't know how much help that would be for you. The heater sits inside the cockpit and the motor fits through a hole into the engine compartment. The hose fittings also come up into the engine compartment. I can get yo u pictures of what i have, if that helps. Also have a original roll bar, and license plate/spare tire bracket. I had a S4 (bought new) for 30 years.
  3. The Ford remote shifter uses the shifter from a Lotus Elan. I have a used, complete shifter, that i would part with. Also have a rear wheel hub removal tool. If you need to pull the axles, it is essential. I would recommend taking a look at the diff, since you had experienced problems rolling the car around. That is one of my winter projects with my Elite, since it is making funny noises. I could lend the puller to you. Also, i have a set of NOS rear brake shoes for the TR10.
  4. Probably a ford Gearbox, however there are two styles of remote shifters used. Early cars had a triumph Spitfire remote with a welded up adapter to fit the gearbox. Later cars had the ford Cortina remote as used on the Cortina GT. I cannot tell from the picture which remote you have. I am only 40 miles from Toledo, and have owned Sevens for 50 years. Always available to help. The photo in the earlier post is the Ford remote, which by the way, is the better of the two. If the cap that holds down the shifter screws on to the remote, it is Ford. If the cap has two tabs to lock it down, it is Triumph.
