  1. Lol cruising UKs campus in my Rotus I either get wtf is that? Or "Awesome car! Take me for a ride!" I prefer the latter... However my gf Jen rides shotgun most of the time!
  2. Hey, are any of you guys going to get the sevens out and take a drive to RA? My Father and I will be trailering ours down to my Uncle's place in Roswell then commuting to the track. It would be great to meet a few more of you guys. -Ian
  3. Do you have any pics of your G4 you could post up?? Ginetta is one of my favorties! I will have a G4 one day!
  4. Yes and no... Its great for changing tires, oil and brakes... That’s about its limit, it is extremely difficult to change tranny fluids and get to anything that doesn't hang over the ends of the lift. It also requires a lot of ground clearance to get cars up onto it. We had to make 2 inch tall ramps to pull onto in order to clear the frail rails on most of our cars... My MG clears it, but the M3 hangs up on it even with the risers... Oh it is a Pro-6MR! Oh and its not so portable its soo heavy!
  5. I am bored and stuck at work today and its sunny and 50 degrees... I don't want to be inside! :ack: So I thought I would share some pictures of the collection my Father and I have plus some recent shots! Enjoy My 1973 MGB GT (first car purchased when I was 13 y/o) Dad and I restored it and had it ready to go when I turned 16! This successfully killed about 20 minutes! Have a good weekend!
  6. Wow those are very similar! I coulbe wrong... I can't recall if I saw them stamped with BBS or just assumed they were BBS. As for the tow strap, its a G-Force Racing tie down strapped to the frame of the Rotus tied to a D-ring just behind the hitch on the trailer. The car only weighs 1200 lbs.!!!
  7. It came with the cycle fenders, trust me I agree with you, if it were a racecar maybe but the clamshells are too classic. :7drive: clamshells > cycle fenders
  8. http://i442.photobucket.com/albums/qq145/ianscrawford/DSC00684.jpg clamshell fender mock up
  9. Which towstrap?? Wheels were purchased from Mazda, they are BBS Thanks guys! The trailer is an old abandoned one behind one of our local Lowes, there was no truck attached and I have know idea who owned it! I guess you could say I like to live dangerously! But hey it was starting to rain!
  10. Formally Robert Urfer's 1985 Rotus 7. Its been in my family since May 2007. http://img220.imageshack.us/img220/7236/rotustrailerey4.jpg http://img220.imageshack.us/img220/6724/rotusunderrz8.jpg http://i442.photobucket.com/albums/qq145/ianscrawford/Nikon%20D60/DSC_0055-1.jpg http://i442.photobucket.com/albums/qq145/ianscrawford/Nikon%20D60/DSC_0045-1.jpg http://i442.photobucket.com/albums/qq145/ianscrawford/Nikon%20D60/DSC_0042-1.jpg http://i442.photobucket.com/albums/qq145/ianscrawford/Nikon%20D60/DSC_0048-1.jpg Making some new exhaust and rebuilding the carbs is about all that is left!
