  1. HI Hank: To the best of my knowledge it is only indoor. The material is "grayshield." I had the exact same cover for my S1 and the cover was soft. Tom
  2. Cleaning out the garage. For sale is 1 Superformance S1 car cover custom made by Back East Car Covers. The cover is new in unopened box. $50.00. Tom cking57@comcast.net
  3. Superformance S1 for sale. I added a couple of videos to Youtube.
  4. Hi Steve: Yes, the engine is the standard 2.0. Tom
  5. Hi Steve: Thanks for the comments. I have enjoyed the S1 very much. Over the years I have owned 2 Corvettes, 3 Cobra replicas, MG, Fiat, 3 Shelby Mustangs, 4 Miatas and many other sports cars. This car is the most fun of all of them. I'm not saying that because I'm selling it. I mean it. However as I get older, I am becoming more practical. I want something I can enjoy more often. Tom

The serial number of this car is #46. The car is insured through American Modern Classic insurance company - $470 per year. This is my 3rd Superformance car. The build quality and engineering are the best of the best. I am 60 years old and decided to buy a more conventional sports car. I will purchase a used S2000, Z4 or Corvette (a/c, radio and old person amenities). I may consider a trade (up or down) for the right car (stock, low miles, warranty). $24,000. 9. Ian: That's a good idea. The S1 body is aluminum, but painted. I wonder how it would look to remove the silver paint and semi polish the alumimun. Maybe someday. Tom
  10. Hello I’m a new member and recently purchased a Superformace S1. I’ve always liked the Lotus 7 and have been looking on and off for the right car for a long time. I found a few recently, but now that I’m 60 years old the real ones are a little too utilitarian considering the width of my butt. The S1 is far from plush, but has a somewhat functional roof and heater (I was foolish to think the heater important considering the amount of heat generated in the S1 foot boxes). Over the years I have been fortunate to have many fast cars (3 Shelby Mustangs, 2 Corvettes, 2 Superformance Cobras, 1 Evervett Morrison Cobra, and a Detomaso Magusta). These cars were fast, but I have learned the cars that were the most fun were the small cars that I owned (MG, Fiat, 4 Miatas, S2000). These cars could corner, handle and stop and beat all of the fast cars if the road had a lot of corners. My car is S1 number 46 and has a 2.0 Zetec engine with Webcon fuel injection. Anyway I’m a happy owner of an S1 and glad to join this fine group of car enthusiasts. Tom King Elizabethtown, KY http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/1872607665_8c4b_3.jpg
