I'm about to buy a 1988 Birkin, but wouold like to know what Birkin Factroy markings I should expect to see. On the top of the pedal box is "BIRKIN" and a six digit serial number hard stamped into the aluminum. The ket engine has it's own number too. Any tips would be appreciated, particuarly to tell the difference between a factory car with a homebuilt.
