i was just on my way out the door with camera in hand to shoot some better engine detail shots, take some measurements, & to help sell the 944--but the guy just called and cancelled. we've rescheduled...again.

yes it is and its in davis california. i just heard that the lift has just been sold though, and the 944 will be before the end of the week if all goes well. =)

sorry for not getting back to you all sooner. yes the car is still for sale. as i said, they purchased it for $17,000 a year ago and she would just like to get that back out of it. the lift is for sale as well, but i have no idea of its value/asking price either. all serious offers will be forwarded though. i havent gotten back to davis to check into the measurements just yet but im hoping to get down there this week.

awesome info, and i would definitely be interested in some measurements to help narrow down the specs! i also wouldnt mind the idea of driving it around town looking for a 'good picture' again...so ya, i'd love that excuse! =) the car was so much to drive. we were getting on to the freeway and hit 90 by accident on the on-ramp! we later determined that it was more likely due to a fast spedometer, but the sensation was the same as driving a motorcycle with too much juice because of how low you sat to the ground. my face hurt for a couple days from smiling so much! =) edit... if i knew someone with a dyno, would that info be relevant to the sale? i'm thinking it would. edit again... i've got a page started at http://www.spidy1.com/betty it's a work in progress.
